At Our Heart 2 Yours, we recognize the importance of human connection and especially when life is hard. Loss and grief are part of the journey we must ALL walk and it is through relationships and connection that broken hearts can begin to heal. Regardless of the loss.
We create cards with the hope that Michele’s heartfelt words combined with Rachel’s beautiful artwork will capture what people who are grieving, desperately need to see and hear.
Michele at www.micheledeville.com has learned through her own personal grief journey how important it is to feel supported, seen and heard. Yet, society is often uncomfortable with grief and people do not always know what to do or say, therefore they say nothing at all. This can leave grievers feeling isolated and alone.
We at Our Heart 2 Yours understand and we are dedicated to changing the conversations around grief. One word at a time.
In 2020 and in the middle of the pandemic, Michele DeVille and Rachel Weierke met at a restaurant to collaborate and push forward on a dream. A dream to make a difference in the world of loss and grief. Our Heart 2 Yours makes cards for you to give when a loved one or friend is struggling and needs support.
Most of us have stopped at a store on the way to a funeral in search of a sympathy card offering the right words, and while this is a thoughtful and kind gesture, grief doesn’t end with the funeral or a diagnosis. Often, grief is just beginning and the toughest days lie ahead.
Our cards are meant to offer love and support long after everyone else goes home. To remind those who are grieving that they are not alone and people care. Regardless of how much time goes by. Our cards are comforting at the funeral but also at any time when life is hard.

Michele is a born and raised Midwest girl with a passion for helping others, her family, friends and spending time in the Northwoods. She is a writer, grief specialist & advocate, speaker and life coach dedicated to showing up for those who are grieving in a world filled with so much grief and loss. Empathy and kindness are at the heart of all that she does including the vision of creating Our Heart 2 Yours with Rachel Weierke. Michele believes in the power of beautiful artwork enhanced with meaningful words. The cards and products at Our Heart 2 Yours are created just for you with love.
Rachel Weierke
Rachel, Minnesotan turned Arizonan, has always had an eye for design. Art with a purpose, has been her guide and provided the foundation for her personal brand, @twincityzen. Primarily illustrating portraits of families, pets and homes; Rachel loves to provide meaningful keepsakes to commemorate and celebrate moments that matter in her client’s lives. Because of this passion, Our Heart 2 Yours felt like a natural progression and led to creating thoughtful artwork to accent Michele’s heartfelt words.
